The Japanese Tsunami affected many of the individual organisms. By destroying their homes, killing their food, and polluting their water sources, this tsunami has killed or hurt these individuals.
The tsunami took many of these individuals from their homes, dragging sea creators to the land and land animals to the sea. As shown in the picture to the left, this is a dolphin that was dragged out of the ocean, its home, and left to die on land. Luckily he was rescued, unfortunately many others didn't run with his luck.

Populations

The Japanese Tsunami impacted many populations including the human population. It killed approximately 19,000 people and about 3,450 bodies disappeared. Authorities believe the bodies might of been lost in the ocean or still remind under the ruins. The tsunami also left thousands of people without homes, food, jobs or electricity.

The tsunami also caused thousands of pet deaths. It took their homes and families, limiting their chance of survival. This poor puppy on the left was one of the lucky ones to be rescued, he will be given up for adoption, hopefully many more like him will be able to be rescued.
Ecosystems
The Japanese Tsunami wiped out many ecosystems as well. It destroyed thousands of buildings, which where home to many people as well as animals. The people did not only lose their homes, by the destruction of these buildings, they also lost their loved ones and even their own lives. Their own ecosystems turned on them and caused them the worst of pains.
